Greetings to all lovers of original and unusual artwork who enter this gallery. Welcome, and enjoy the tour of my original creations. *

I am a self taught intuitive "Outsider" Artist. I have never taken an art class (painting, drawing etc) aside from a few college semesters in claywork and one introduction course in DTP and computer graphics. My art is intuitive in that i allow each creation to emerge and flow through me. I seldom have a plan.........it happens!!!!

Please note that ALL my prints are limited edition, usually no more than 25 prints per painting. I do not believe in saturating the market with my art. For that reason, prints are a bit higher than other artists who may sell their prints for lower prices, but bear in mind that they are selling thousands of prints. In purchasing my artwork you are purchasing one of kind art with very limited distribution and you are guaranteed that i will never do second edition printings.*

Eskasoni is a Mi'kmaq community peacefully nestled in the lushly forested hills along the Bra's d'or Lakes in Cape Breton, NS. It is here i share life's blessings with my husband, family and friends. We live across a lake where an eagle family is nested. Daily one can witness Eagles circling our sparkling lakes and waterways as they hunt.

This is a limited edition 8x10 (25 copies) graphically enhanced laser print of a small drum i painted. The original 6" elkskin drum can be viewed in our DRUMLODGE LINK.

She is honored as First Mother and in many cultures and traditions she has a woman's upper body with a fish, whale or sea serpent's tail. laser print of original work computer altered. Original was a mixed media(sand, acrylic and collage painted on a bevel cut oval shaped wood format. I scanned the image and graphically altered, enhanced and re-created it into 4 separated frames.

MOONDANCE item #md1968o

MoonDance (a self portrait) was originally created in 1968 as a carved image on a linoleum block. In 1996 I used the original linoleum block to create a ceramic stamp.
This laser print copy is of ceramic stamped slab of kayolin clay which was fired, then painted with acrylic paints, then glazed.
