Painted Drums
The following gallery of painted drums are original handpainted designs. These designs are primarily
influenced by both Maria's Greek Heritage and Kenny's Mi'kmaq heritage. Some designs are also influenced by and/or integrated
wtih other Native American styles. All drums are signed and dated. Most Drums come with our trademark
2 white feathers on red leather beaded with 5 special colors, along with a tag explaining the story of our trademark.
Painted drums may also include a story.
The images of the following drum designs along with information i have included within each drum description is not
to be copied,transferred or in any other way duplicated or distributed without the sole written permission of myself, Mariah
(ria) Stevens. This restriction especially applies to all entrepreneurial ventures including
other commercial websites. Information extracted from the following descriptions may be used for educational
purposes only.
Please Note: Designs on Drums indicated as Sold can be custom painted. If you would like

This painting was inspired by a 6000 year old Minoan bronze sculpture
which depicts the Sacred White Cow and Butterfly both symbols of the Great Mother Religions of ancient Greece.
Handpainted
on Elkskin rawhide with acrylic and metalic paints. Sealed with acrylic sealer to protect the design from moisture and drumming
impacts.

Mini drums are approx 3" diam, covered with rawhide. All mini drums and rattle drums come
with a mini drumstick at no extra cost.
We currently have several "blanks" available.
Blanks: $15-$20 US or CND
Please note: Your mini drums can be custom painted for an additional
$5-$20 extra fee depending on complexity of design
